Hermosa Turtles Tours | Jaco Costa Rica

Playa Hermosa Wildlife Refuge is located on the central Pacific coast, just 15 minutes from Playa Jaco. This site was created to protect the nesting grounds of Olive Ridley turtles and endangered.

“Releasing hundreds of turtles in the ocean”

On this tour you will have the opportunity to walk through this beautiful black sand beach in search of turtles, you can see the commissioning process, collect the eggs and care for the release of hundreds of turtles return to the sea.

At each station, the protection of more than 100,000 eggs and 60,000 turtle release, from June to December.
